In Formula Student Vitoria we welcome Eurocircuits as sponsor for first time in 2022. This collaboration will allow us to manufacture our self-designed PCBs, helping us to develop the full electrical system of our first ever racing single-seater (Bizkor01), which will compete in Formula Student competitions. That’s why we want to thank Eurocircuits for making this possible.

About the Team (Formula Student Vitoria)

Formula Student Vitoria was born in 2018 formed by some students from the engineering school of Vitoria-Gasteiz in the University of the Basque Country. Our goal is to participate in Formula Student competitions, in which numerous universities worldwide take part. These events are the spearhead of the future of automotive engineering and innovation, presenting countless technical challenges both in design, manufacturing, and organisation.

However, FSV goes beyond the merely tangible. Our goal is to bring the electric vehicle closer to real life, creating a local collaboration network with companies, institutions, vocational training centres and schools.

High Voltage Detection PCB

Among other PCBs which are part of the electrical system of Bizkor01, there is the High Voltage Detection PCB. This is the one that detects whether high voltage (>60V) is present in the Tractive System or not, having a maximum voltage of 600V, and its output is a galvanically isolated and fail-safe signal. This would make safety systems like the TSAL (Tractive System Active Light) work in a reliable way.
