We have chosen CadSoft EAGLE software as it has proved over the last 20 years to be one of the most
popular programs in the market place.
It offers a range of user-friendly, powerful and affordable solutions for PCB design,
including Schematic Capture, Board Layout and Auto router. It is easy to learn and easy to use
and has the same core functionality as commercial software packages priced many times higher. Support is excellent via conventional HELP files, webinars and user forums as well as direct support via the CadSoft website. Flexible User Language Programs (ULPs) can be used to generate custom features such as individual instruction sequences. The EAGLE user community even share them to enhance and customize the software for special applications.
EAGLE support
CadSoft is universally recognised by EAGLE users for the quality of its support. There are several levels.

The second level of support includes:

- the PCB projects section where EAGLE users post interesting small layouts that can be re-used in your design.
- the User Language Programs section (ULPs) where EAGLE users post small programs they have created to help you with specific functions in EAGLE. These can speed up the learning curve and boost your productivity.
The third line of support is the CadSoft office itself. CadSoft has well trained EAGLE specialists who can answer your questions and put you on the right track to solve your specific problem.
